For the past decade, I have worked a variety of media all over the world. I've been a copy editor, writer, photographer, videographer, and journalist. I've worked both online and offline producing shorts, documentaries, and promotional materials, writing and editing articles and stories, shooting photo essays, and updating blogs. I've uploaded materials to digital platforms for presentation and streaming. All this has prepared me exceptionally well for a position in social networking, communication, and public relations in the 21st century.
I’ve had a number of short pieces published as a writer and journalist. My short fiction has received recognition in a number of publications. I’ve covered stories about crime, loss, and upheaval in the Southland area, Hong Kong, Australia, and Ireland. A self-published novel I wrote received praise and won the 2011 NABE Pinnacle Book Achievement Award for Best Thriller. In addition to my writing experience, I’ve also been involved in the academic side of social work, interacting with people who have shared stories similar to mine, getting them to translate their thoughts into coherent narratives.
I also paint. I use both skateboard decks and canvases as my mediums of conveyance. I have held two shows displaying my art, both of which garnered shining reviews, and sold a number of my works.
